The French Data Protection Authority (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés – “CNIL”) defines a cookie as “a small file stored by a server on a user’s device (computer, smartphone, etc.) and associated with a web domain (that is, in the majority of cases, all the pages of one website). This file is automatically sent during subsequent visits to the same domain.”
Dassault Aviation undertakes, through an information banner used on the Website and through this document, to inform the User clearly and fully of the purpose of any action attempting, through electronic transmission, to (i) access information already stored on the User’s electronic communication device equipment or (ii) record information on this equipment.
Dassault Aviation undertakes, also through the aforementioned information banner, to inform the User of the means available to them to configure their choices and to withdraw their consent if necessary.
The use of cookies by Dassault Aviation on the Website is also contingent upon the User’s expression of consent corresponding to a clear and positive action.

It should be noted that Personal Data associated with the Cookies used by Dassault Aviation is processed in accordance with the principles of the European (EU) Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of such data (the “GDPR”) and the French law of January 6, 1978, amended, relating to data protection and privacy (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Personal Data Legislation”).

As such, through the information banner, Dassault Aviation uses an interface for collecting choices that is easy for the User to understand.
Additionally, through a “configuration” window, Dassault Aviation enables the User to give their consent independently and specifically for each purpose associated with a cookie family (non-separable). As such, Dassault Aviation uses an interface for collecting choices that is easy for the User to understand.
The choice expressed by the User, whether it be consent or refusal, will be recorded by Dassault Aviation so as not to request it again for a period of six (6) months (except in the event of changing device or deleting cookies).
The User’s silence, which may mean simply continuing to browse, will be interpreted as refusal.
