This year, the biggest aerial event in the Hauts-de-France region, the Somme Airshow, is taking place on August 24. And the aerial stage promises to be an exciting one!
The Somme Airshow is the biggest aerial event in the Hauts-de-France region and will take place at Amiens-Henry Potez International Airport on Saturday, August 24, 2024 – the event will be preceded by training sessions and a twilight airshow the day before.
The Somme International Airshow will be a chance for the organizers to celebrate not only the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of France, but also the centenary of the aeronautical industry in Méaulte, founded by Henry Potez. The 15,000 spectators expected to attend will be treated to a wide range of stands, events and exhibitions. You’ll be able to meet Dassault Aviation Seclin’s business line and HR teams.
And in the air, the program promises to be particularly interesting and varied. Judge for yourself: it will feature the Rafale Marine, the A400M Tactical Display, the Noratlas 2501 and the L-39C Albatros, and there will be formation displays by the famous Patrouille de France and its Alpha Jets, the Royal Jordanian Falcons, Team Orlik, the Global Stars Airshow Team and the French team Carnet de Vol. In short, a great turnout for an exceptional event!
