To open the festivities for the 80th anniversary of Operation Dragoon in Provence, ambassadors from the French Air and Space Force will be performing an aerial demonstration over Le Lavandou. See you on August 16.
Since 2019, the Lavandou Airshow has become a tradition for summer visitors to this quiet town in the Var region and for locals. And to kick off the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Operation Dragoon in Provence (August 15, 1944), what better way than to admire the most prestigious ambassadors of the French Air and Space Force as they fly over the Mediterranean beaches, each displaying their own impressive technical prowess?
The public will be able to admire the Rafale, the French Air and Space Force aerobatics team and the Patrouille de France’s Alpha Jets, which will take to the skies over the bay of Le Lavandou. And for fans and youngsters alike, there will be an autograph session immediately following the display. Enjoy the show!
