To mark the 79th anniversary of the Allied landings in Provence, the Patrouille de France Alpha Jets will perform a flyby over the bay of Le Lavandou on August 14, 2023.
It has almost become a tradition for this time of year! Le Lavandou airshow, which was first held in 2019, is back again in 2023 with an unchanged formula, consisting primarily of a flyby by the Patrouille de France and its Alpha Jets.
For around an hour, starting from 4 PM, vacationers in the popular Var coastal resort will be able to watch the acrobatics of the Patrouille de France from the Boulevard de Lattre de Tassigny (on the seafront).
Following the show, at around 6 PM, there will be a signing session with the pilots, led by the squadron’s leader, Commander Aurélien Declercq. Young and old alike, all are welcome!
