Save the date for the Gap air show taking place at the end of May over two days, with one day focusing on exhibitions, the other on demonstrations.
The Gap air show, which has now become a tradition, will take place on May 25 and 26 with a different program over two days. On Saturday May 25, there will be guided tours of the associations and companies operating at the Gap-Tallard aerodrome, a Village that is representative of the local area (Hautes-Alpes), with all kinds of stands (various federations, the French Air and Space Force, local craftspeople, etc.), and aircraft displays on the ground. These include the Waco ATO “Taperwing”, the MS.733 Morane Marine, the Broussard, and the Alouette II and III helicopters.
On Sunday 26th, it’s time for the big air show, with air displays from warbirds, aerobatic aircraft, parachutes, microlights, helicopters (military, rescue, etc.), Canadair as well as more modern aircraft, such as those from the Dassault family. The Patrouille de France, F-86 Sabre, Dassault MD 312 Flamant, NA T-6 Texan, Piper PA-18 Super Cub, Rafale Marine, and Mirage 2000 will be among those in attendance. The list goes on!
