This year’s two-day air show, the Cholet Fou d’Ailes aviation festival, will take place on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, 2023. An event with a vintage (or retro) theme that will surely enchant the public!
While many of you will be at Le Bourget for the Paris Air Show, others may opt for this more “classic”, but also more vintage, air show in Cholet, Maine-et-Loire.
The Fou d’Ailes event will combine aviation (of course), music, including a concert by the Cholet Harmonic Orchestra and its “big band” jazz sound, and motoring, with a parade of military vehicles.
While a 1940s-style camp will be set up around the airfield, a military parade and various activities will take place on Saturday afternoon in the Cholet town center, followed on Sunday by an aviation festival where both young and old alike can admire the most famous aircraft from the Second World War.
