The only air show in the world organized exclusively by students (from the French National School of Civil Aviation, Enac, and the Higher Institute for Aeronautics and Space, ISAE – Supaero), Airexpo has been offering a program designed to appeal to both novices and specialists at every one of its events since 1987.
This 36th edition, with Dassault Aviation as a partner, should be no different, with 250 volunteers ready to welcome 15,000 visitors to the 860,000 square meter airfield in Muret-Lherm, a town located about 30 minutes from Toulouse.
One of the activities for visitors to enjoy is to take a seat in the cockpit of a Dassault Super Etendard, which has been renovated by the “Les Ailes de la Mer” association. Among the legendary aircraft also present, equally worthy of mention, are the Morane-Saulnier 733 (which was used to train French pilots in the mid-20th century) and the Bréguet 1050 Alizé (anti-submarine aircraft used by the French Army between 1960 and 2000).
The Max Plan Busard will also be present, a unique French-built single-seater, of all-wood construction. Finally, for those French citizens who dream of a career serving their nation, a French Air Force and Space Corps exhibition bus will also be at the show. Plenty to feed your dreams and your ambitions.
