A direct sequel to Volume 23, this edition of “Missions Kimono” recounts the adventures of a French Air and Space Force pilot and his bodyguard who have been captured by terrorists.
After a complicated captivity (see volume 23, “The Hostages of Daraa” (“Les Otages du Deraa”)), a pilot (equipped with the Dassault M Rafale) from the 11th Fleet, the oldest fighter unit of the naval air force based in Landivisiau (Finistère), and his bodyguard manage to escape. Free at last, the two men manage to contact the government to warn them of an imminent attack on French soil.
Out of all the theories developed from the information gathered by the two men, a large-scale attack seems to be the most feared. For it would seem that there are many traps and false leads to be wary of!
Like many other French Air and Space Force units, the 11th Fleet is on high alert, deploying its aircraft all over France and beyond. The danger of a terrorist attack can emerge from anywhere: the air, the land or even the sea…
