The Student Aerospace Challenge, initiated by Dassault Aviation in 2006, is a competition for higher education students on the topic of manned suborbital vehicles.

Despite the health context, the 14th edition of the Student Aerospace Challenge brought together 11 teams, thus confirming its status as a European-level event for the third year running (Germany, France, Italy, Poland, United Kingdom and Sweden).

The Suborbital Day, which was held virtually (a first!), concluded the event on November 18, 2020. This was an opportunity for students to present their work and for the winning teams to receive their awards.

This year, the Dassault Aviation Award was given to the M2 DAST team from IDEST (Paris-Saclay University). These legal experts proposed a regulatory framework for Europe, covering aspects related to the liability of suborbital activities in particular.
